The swivelling pawls (7, 8) are arranged at a pawl carrier (4) so that they can swivel, with the pawl carrier located on the shaft (3) so that it can rotate. A control projection makes a rotation proof connection with the shaft (3) and engages at the respective swivelling pawl (7, 8). The control projections 910), with the rotation of the shaft (3) in the permitted direction of rotation take the pawls (7, 8) from the blocking profile (11) and takes the swivelling pawl carrier with it. At least one, e.g. twelve locking places (12) are provided at the circumference of the locking profile (11). USE/ADVANTAGE - Ratchet type pawls esp. for synchronous motor. Noise level is reduced. Friction free in permitted direction.
