PURPOSE:To obtain video signals capable of displaying in the same direction as the case of facing a person to materials even when the device is used for video input by automatically executing a video processing according to the direction of a video input part. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a video input part 101, supporting part 102 for changing the video input direction of the video input part 101, state signal generating part 103 for generating a state signal expressing the input direction with the change of the video input direction of the video input part 101, and video processing part 106 for executing the video processing corresponding to the state while inputting a state signal 104 outputted by the state signal generating part 103 and an input video signal 105 outputted by the video input part 101. Then, the state signal expressing the input direction is generated by the state signal generating part 103 with the change of the video input direction of the video input part 101 which can be changed while being supported by the supporting part 102 and the video processing part 106 executes the video processing corresponding to the state while inputting the state signal 104 and the input video signal 105. Therefore, the sense of incongruity in display and operations is eliminated and operability is improved. |
