PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having an excellent effect in preventing the corrosion of various metals of an internal combustion engine, etc., by incorporating a plurality of specified compounds each in a specified amount into the title composition composed mainly of glycol. CONSTITUTION:0.5-5.0wt.% of at least one of p-t-butylbenzoic acid and alkali metal salt thereof and 0.5-1.0wt.% triazole (e.g. benzotriazole) are incorporated into the title composition which is composed mainly of glycol (e.g. ethylene glycol) and does not contain a phosphoric acid salt, an amine salt, a silicic acid salt, a boric acid salt, a nitrous acid salt, and an aliphatic mono- or dibasic acid. |
