The animal excrement collector has an outer pipe surrounding an inner pipe which can be telescopically extended. A shovel-shaped holder for a recovery bag (15), can be extended from within the inner pipe, and has two parts which can move from an open position to a closed one. The inner pipe can be forced out by a spiral spring (11) to surround the holder and clamping it together to close the bag. ADVANTAGE - Facility for both hygenic collecting and disposal.
