A modular procedure for adjusting the size of freight containers, of the type that are principally intended for the transportation of boards of certain measurements and the cargo modules are independent with respect to the measurements of homologated containers, the measurements and shapes of these cargo modules being capable of being adjusted and being complementary to each other, integrated into the structures of the containers which, as they can be asymmetrical, complement each other to form a homologated measurement for a standard container. The modular asymmetric container 1 is designed to carry compacted boards 2 one oversized container being provided that fits into the space provided by the adjacent container, indicated by the measurements X2/Y2/Z2, fulfilling the conditions for utilization of the additional space, transportation, and the ability to be loaded and unloaded by means of practical accessories, the two twenty-foot structures together forming a forty- foot unit, permitting the accommodation of boards in asymmetrical modules, being provided with a movable pillar 3, an adjustment chain 5 and stacking corners 4. <IMAGE>
