PURPOSE:To increase response speed and control accuracy of a light deflecting device. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 1 is fixed to a mirror base 2, and a protruded part at both ends of the mirror base 2 is supported rotatably by a shaft 3. A connected part 5 for supporting the shaft 3 is bonded to an electrostriction effect 4 to fix it. The electrostriction effect devices 4 are telescoped in vertical direction by applying voltage through leads 6. By telescoping the electrostriction effect devices 4, the angle of surface of the reflector 1 on which light is reflected is varied to control deflection angle. |
