PURPOSE:To obtain a stable ink jet printer free from a stop during jetting by a method wherein a bubble is prevented from intruding into an ink supply system relating to an ink jet printer provided with an ink jet head, an ink stylus connecting to said ink jet head, and an ink-supplying ink cassette detachably connected to said ink stylus. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet printer provided with an ink jet head 1, an ink stylus 3 connecting to said ink jet head 1, and an ink cassette 4 detachably connected to said ink stylus 3, an ink stylus sealing mechanism 11 is so constructed as to cover a stylus hole 5 of the ink stylus 3 when the ink cassette 4 is extracted from the ink stylus 3 and open the stylus hole 5 when the ink cassette 4 is inserted to the ink stylus 3. |
