PURPOSE:To provide a tape-like multi-core ceramic superconductor, in which the effect of bending strain is small and the superconducting property is excellent, and a cable using it. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic superconductors 1 to be provided inside of a tape-like metallic body 2 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the tape-like metallic body 2 longer in the thickness direction of the tape-like metallic body 2, and concurrently the ceramic superconductor 1 is provided in more than two columns with appropriate spacings in the width direction of the tape-like metallic body 2 to produce a tape-like ceramic superconductor 3. Further a cable is formed by using the tape-like ceramic superconductor 3.
