Working kit including a tube component with a spigoted end. A connecting component 1 that has a sleeve 3, a spigot 4 and a step 7 behind the spigot 4. The step 7 may form a shoulder surface for a spacer collar (8) to be used with a hermetic pipe seal with a sliding cover (not shown) to be located on the circumferential part of the surface 5 of the spigot not covered by the spacer collar 8, when the spigot 4 is to be connected to a sleeve (not shown), the sliding cover of the hermetic seal of the pipe sliding over the spacer collar 8 and being protected by the latter. When the spigot 4 is to be inserted into an opening in a relatively thick wall in a duct or shaft (not shown) with a large diameter, there is no need for the spacer collar 8, behind which the spigot is inserted into a hermetic sealing ring with projections and recesses located in the opening, with the hermetic sealing ring preferably having a projection opposite the connecting component avoiding direct contact between the latter and the wall. <IMAGE>
