Recuperative burner with a burner pipe (1) which surrounds a burner head (4), a gas lance (8) which leads to the burner head (4) and is arranged in the displacement pipe (5), a tubular recuperator (7) for preheating the combustion air by means of the hot waste gas, which recuperator surrounds the displacement pipe (5) and is provided with external and internal ribs, and a housing (3) surrounding the recuperator pipe (7). The burner pipe (1) consists of ceramic material and the burner head (4) of metal or ceramic material, in particular silicon carbide. The burner pipe (1) is mounted in a sealed manner on a ceramic cone (2) in the region of its smaller radial extent. The ceramic cone (2) is, in the region of its greater radial extent, connected to the recuperator pipe (7) and the housing (3) surrounding the recuperator (7) is at least partially formed from ceramic material.
