The base plate is formed as a suction plate (14) and is connected to a vacuum producer. The suction plate (14) has a separate vacuum producer and in partic. a vacuum container (16). The suction plate (14) is downwardly open and is equipped with stiffening ribs and braces. The plate has an all-round sealing edge (15) of rubber-elastic material on the suction surface. On the edge is fixed a plasticine-type adhesive mass. The suction plate (14) is connected to an alarm device which functions when a predetermined vacuum is exceeded. USE/ADVANTAGE - The equipment is essentially simpler to transport from one point to another.
