The focussing magnets (30) of the projection tube and the yoke (20) are fixed onto the constant diameter section of the cathode ray tube. The yoke has an extension (23) of reduced diameter that fits within a recess formed in the magnets. In this way the fixing sections (23, 33) overlap and a single clamp (26) is used to secure the assembly. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies the assembly of tubes.
