A device for holding or guiding a garden hose or cable has a horizontal roller (1) and two vertical rollers (2, 3) on either side, fixed on a framework (5) in a U-shape. A fourth roller (4) is hinged at the top of one vertical roller. This can be dropped down to enclose the hose or cable completely. The frame has two prongs (6) so that it can be stuck into the earth or lawn. This is a "fixed height" design. A different design has the rollers (just three this time) on a vertical stalk, adjusted in height by a clamp, again with prongs for sinking into the earth or lawn. ADVANTAGE- Simple device, giving little rolling resistance to hose or cable.
