<p>PURPOSE:To enhance waste water treating efficiency by pulling up a filter medium having arrived at the rear end of a treating tank with a recovery device, removing the deposited sludge with a cleaning device and then returning the filter medium to the treating tank. CONSTITUTION:A treating tank 1 is packed with many filter mediua 3 of specified lump along with water to be treated. The medium 3 is slowly moved in the tank 1 by the flow pressure. Several scrapers 13 are set in the width direction on the other end of the tank 1 as a recovery device 4. The medium 3 recovered by the scraper 13 and placed on a transfer table 17 is sent to a cleaning device 5. The cleaned medium 3 is placed on a conveyor and 4 conveyed to the opposite end of the tank 1. The mediua 3 are arranged on a table laid above the tank 1 and charged directly before a flow-straightening partition plate 8 in the tank 1. The medium 3 is repeatedly circulated in the same manner.</p> |
