摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the electrical conductivity of the above material by calcining a powder mixture formed by substituting a part of a powder mixture composed of SiC and B4C as well as green coke with ceramics powder consisting of CrC and bori de of Ti and/or Zr. CONSTITUTION:The powder mixture composed of 5 to 50vol.% carbide in total consisting of an SiC and B4C powders having <=25mum grain size and a green coke as the balance contg. >=4wt.% residual volatile component is used as the basic component. This powder mixture is so compounded as to be substituted with the ceramics powder consisting of the boride powder of the Ti and/or Zr of <=10mum grain size corresponding to 3 to 80wt.% of the total weight of the above-mentioned carbide powder and the CrC powder corresponding to 1 to 5wt.% of the entire part. Such powder mixture is subjected to a sufficient frictional crushing treatment. The mixture is then molded under pressurization and the molding is calcined in a nonoxidative atmosphere, by which the highstrength composite material having a good electrical conductivity is obtd.
