The invention refers to a metallic coupling piece, designed to assemble furniture items together. According to the invention, the metallic coupling piece is made up of identical bottom plates (1 and 2), on which tongues (i and k) are made by drawing, as well as some identical orifices (j and l). The bottom plates (1 and 2) are provided with holes (a, b, c, d) and (e, f, g and h) respectively, that the retaining screws go through in order to fix them to the elements (3 and 4) to be assembled.
