A seed bacteria container feeding mechanism wherein a conveyor (2) for intermittently conveying in a row unit a container (7) accommodating groups of cultivation containers (6) aligned in a plurality of rows, lid opening/closing means (9) for opening and closing a lid of each cultivation container (6) at a seed bacteria inoculation position, seed bacteria loading means (11) for scraping out a predetermined quantity of the seed bacteria S inside the seed bacteria container (10) and inoculating the seed bacteria <u>s</u> into the cultivation container (6), the lid (5) of which is opened by the lid opening/closing means (9), a seed bacteria container loading member (12) for fitting upside down the neck portion (10A) of the seed bacteria container (10), and seed bacteria container feeding means (44) capable of supporting thereon a predetermined number of seed bacteria container loading members (12) for serially feeding the seed bacteria container loading members (12) are provided. This apparatus can serially feed the seed bacteria loading member (12) having the seed bacteria containers (10) set thereto to the seed bacteria loading means (11) and can improve efficiency of the seed bacteria loading operation.
