<p>An incubator for accommodating premature and newborn babies in a compartment which can be temperature- controlled by a latent heat store, is improved so that temperature regulation, which can be adapted in an improved way to varying environmental conditions and which is not dependent upon the store temperature, becomes possible in the compartment, and so that when a desired temperature is exceeded, the heat emission can be eliminated. To this purpose, the heat store (8) is housed in a special store space (7), which is heat-insulated from the compartment (16) and from the environment, and is connected to a controllable heat exchanger (5) which is accommodated in the compartment (16). <IMAGE></p> |
