<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a portable device which performs a speech communication function from a mobile telephone and to perform speech communication by constituting a body which has a radio communicating part that sends and receives a radio signal with a base station and the portable device that has a radio communicating part which communicates with the body and enabling communication from the portable device that is separable from the body through the body. SOLUTION: This mobile telephone consists of a body 100 and a portable unit 200 that is attachable and separable to/from the body 100. The body 100 is provided with a function which performs radio communication with a base station, a function which performs radio communication with the unit 200 and a handset part which performs voice communication with the base station. The unit 200 is provided with a function which performs radio communication with the body 100 and a handset part which performs voice communication. For instance, when there is an incoming call with the body 100 in a bag and the unit 200 in a pocket in such a configuration, the unit 200 forms a radio link with the body 100 and performs voice communication.</p> |
