<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the state at the time of a fault by detecting occurring faults and storing the respective faults as a series of buts, and displaying list data on fault codes and fault titles with the numbers of the bits although only information of a fault information database is given to a user heretofore and information peculiar to a use state that only the user knows can not be displayed. SOLUTION: This device which detects faults and stores the faults as bit information of a fault memory 2 consisting of a series of bits is composed of a means 4 which reads and converts the but information into fault codes 14 corresponding to respective bits, means 5, 6 and 10 which generates list data on fault titles 15 by retrieval from the fault codes 14, fault titles 15 showing the contents of the codes 14, and a fault information database 15 of the fault codes 14, means 8 and 9 which actuate a fault information input part 7 different from the list display part of the fault title 15 when characteristic information is added to the fault title 15, and a means 7 which transfers the corresponding fault title 15 and displays this corresponding fault title 15.</p> |
