A processing for the production of molded articles from comminuted plastic waste using a two component polyurethane binding agent comprises coating a portion of the waste with a polyol component and a portion with an isocyanate component prior to mixing and pressing. A process for the production of molded articles (I) from comminuted plastic waste (II) and a two component polyurethane binding agent comprising a polyol component (III) and an isocyanate component (IV) is claimed. A portion of the waste (II) is coated with the isocyanate (IV) and a portion of (II) is coated with polyol (III). The coated polymer waste is mixed and brought together in a mold and pressed to form the article (I). An Independent claim is included for the article (I).
