<p>A method for reducing atherosclerotic plaques includes administering an effective amount of at least one fatty acid composition to an animal, said fatty acid composition having a carbon chain of at least 16 carbons in length, and wherein at least one pair of double bonds are in a conjugated position. Such a method and article of manufactures facilitating these methods may be useful for reducing atherosclerotic plaques in humans.</p> |
