摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high capacity and a good high-temperature storage characteristic by setting nonaqueous electrolyte amount in a specific range. SOLUTION: Nonaqueous electrolyte amount of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with volume capacity density not less than 110 mAh/cc is preferably 1.8-2.4 μL per mAh battery service capacity. An insulator 2 is placed on the bottom of a blind cylindrical vessel 1 made of stainless steel, an electrode group 3 stored in the vessel 1 has a structure where band-shaped material formed by laminating a positive electrode 4, a separator 5, and a negative electrode 6 in this order is wound in a spiral shape such that the negative electrode 6 is positioned outside. Electrolyte is stored in the vessel 1, a PCT element 7 having a hole in its central part, a safety valve 8, and a positive electrode terminal 9 are arranged and crimped and fixed to the upper opening of the vessel 1 via an insulating gasket 10. A positive electrode lead 11 is connected to the positive electrode 4 and the positive electrode terminal, and the negative electrode 6 is connected to the vessel 1 through the lead. Thus, swelling of the battery and leakage of the electrolyte under a high-temperature atmosphere is prevented.
