PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain back-up and re-install by connecting one back-up device with a portable notebook-sized personal computer without making it necessary to connect a floppy (registered mark) disk drive for starting an OS. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a storage means 11 for start which can be set as a device for start, a control means 12 stored in this storage means 11 which controls the start and back-up of a note-sized personal computer, and a storage means 13 for data which can execute data writing in a large capacity storage media 14. Thus, this one back-up device is connected with the portable notebook-sized personal computer so that back-up and re-install can be attained. |
