METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ASSISTING ARTICLE SALE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and easily generate a customized article catalog which takes preferences of a specific customer into account without introducing any special system on a distributor side. SOLUTION: Article information that a person in charge of articles of the distributor 10 provides via the Internet by using an article-charge terminal 11 and customer information that a person in charge of sale of the distributor 10 provides via the Internet by using a sale-charge terminal 12 are stored and managed as article data and customer data in a database 22 of an article sale assisting device 20 and necessary article data corresponding to specific customer information are extracted from the database 22 according to an article sale plan presented by the person in charge of sale by using the sale-charge terminal 12; and catalog print data corresponding to an article catalog to be distributed to the specific customer are generated on the basis of the extracted article data and distributed to the sale-charge terminal 12 via the Internet.
