PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel capable of displaying a picture (video) normally even when an electronic device has a sustenance period shorter than an address period in a driving system in which a digital gray level and a time gray level are combined and a pixel whose operation can be compensated by changing the potential of a signal line even when a transistor for driving an EL (electroluminescence) has become 'normally on' due to its degradation. SOLUTION: The source region and the drain region of a TFT for erase 105 are connected respectively to a current supplying line 108 and a gate signal line 106. By this structure, the voltage between the gate and the source of a TFT 102 for driving the EL is enabled to be changed so that the TFT 102 becomes a non-conduction state surely by changing the potential of the gate signal line 106 even when the TFT 102 becomes 'normally on' by the shift of its threshold. |
