PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demodulator which modulates a phase shift keying modulated signal by simple configuration without using multipliers and a large capacity ROM having complicated configuration. SOLUTION: The phase modulated signal demodulator for receiving a phase modulated signal transmitted from a sender side and applying demodulation processing to the signal includes: a phase point region detection means 21 for receiving an in-phase component and a quadrature component resulting from applying quadrature detection to the received phase modulated signal and detecting an existing region of a phase point on the basis of the in-phase component and the quadrature component; a phase error detection means 22 for detecting a phase angle from a reference angle in the phase point region on the basis of the phase point existing region information detected by the phase point region detection means and of the in-phase component and the quadrature component; and a phase information calculation means 23 for adding the reference angle of the phase point existing region detected by the phase region detection means to the phase angle detected by the phase error detection means to calculate phase information.
