PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that disconnects a telephone call after informing a caller of the reason why the telephone call can not be continued or the state when the telephone call is disconnected in an answer holding state without answering the telephone. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal has a memory part in which a plurality of answer messages are registered and stored, a display part which displays contents of the plurality of stored answer messages, an input part through which a user selects one arbitrary answer message out of the plurality of answer messages displayed at the display part, and a CPU part which controls the memory part, display part, and input part; when a termination-side user quits a telephone call in an answer holding state, the CPU part performs control for disconnecting the communication after informing the caller side of the answer message selected by the user out of the plurality of answer messages which are previously registered and stored in the memory part.
