PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which gives sufficient image density in a copying machine or a printer using electrophotography and responding to fast operation and low temperature fixing, which is free from filming on a toner carrier or melt sticking on a toner layer thickness regulating member, and which induces no image failure such as fog, image irregularity and white stripes. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is characterized in that: the toner comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant and low melting point wax; the binder resin has an acid value; at least one kind of the low melting point wax is a low melting point wax W having an acid value and showing the maximum endothermic peak in a 70 to 130°C temperature range in a DSC curve during temperature increase; and the toner satisfies the relation of (1): (40/Avr)-1<Avw×X<40-Avr, wherein X ranges 0.1≤X≤10, Avr is the acid value (mgKOH/g) of the binder resin, Avw is the acid value (mgKOH/g) of the low melting point wax W, and X is the content of the low melting point wax W (parts by weight of the wax/100 parts by weight of the binder resin).
