FIELD: agricultural machines, in particular, equipment for cutting of water-absorbing slits and mellowing of soil under humus layer therebetween. ^ SUBSTANCE: mellower has two disk-type slitters, rotavator for soil under crust, and their common pin drive, which are mounted on different shafts arranged in parallel with one another and perpendicular to direction of advancement of unit. Pin transmissions and their drives are positioned within inner cavity of bowl-shaped disks of slitters arranged symmetrically at both sides of rotavator. Such construction allows two water absorbing slits of desirable sizes to be simultaneously cultivated (cutting of new slit and cleaning of previously cut slit) during advancement of unit in soil, and mellowing of soil under humus layer to be steadily provided by thinning and mixing of the latter. ^ EFFECT: provision for retention of soil humus layer, stubble and grass cover on soil surface at high stability, improved quality, enhanced reliability in operation and reduced consumption of power. ^ 2 dwg |
