<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin foam manufacturing method which enables the manufacture of a smaller volume of resin foam for water treatment with higher productivity, and a resin foam manufacturing apparatus suitable for carrying out the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A synthetic resin foam sheet is cut in the feeding direction with a first cutter 11 comprising a groove roller 14 having a plurality of circumferential grooves, and a first roller 15 with blades having a plurality of blade parts extending circumferentially and corresponding to the circumferential grooves, to obtain a plurality of strap foams B. The strap foams B are cut longitudinally in sequence with a second cutter 12 comprising a smoothing roller 20 having a smooth outer peripheral surface, and a second roller 21 with blades having a plurality of blade parts extending axially on the outer peripheral surface to obtain a plurality of fragment foams T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
