INTEGRATED NOZZLE WHEEL FOR REACTION STEAM TURBINE STATIONARY COMPONENTS AND RELATED METHOD

An integrated nozzle wheel and a method for manufacturing a turbine nozzle wheel are provided to simplify manufacturing/assembling processes of a nozzle and a bucket, and reduce total cost of a reaction steam path. An integrated nozzle wheel(10) comprises a 360 degree wheel manufactured by a single body of a stock material; an inner portion of the wheel manufactured to include a plurality of nozzles having an air foil(16) and an inner radial tip shroud; and an outer portion of the wheel manufactured to include one or more assembly features. The assembly features include a plurality of tie-rod holes(22) or bolt holes.
