A mobile communication terminal having a data storage function and an operating method thereof are provided to enhance convenience and to enable a user to edit stored numerical data by making it unnecessary to re-measure corresponding data via a stopwatch or a calculator in case that the user rechecks previously measured data. A mobile communication terminal having a data storage function comprises a stopwatch, a calculator, a memory(20) and a controller(10). The stopwatch measures time data via an installed timer. The calculator calculates inputted numerical data. The memory(20) stores the time data and the numerical data. The controller(10) controls storage of the numerical data, measured via the stopwatch and the calculator, at the memory(20) and output of the stored numerical data.
