PURPOSE:To permit a user having no knowledge about a target language to select a correct target language translation corresponding to an object language by displaying the language information related with the target language sentence in object language after the translation in target language is obtained, when the object language is translated into the target language. CONSTITUTION:Means 1 and 2 which display the language information (equivalent word, voice, tense, etc.) related with the translation in a target language, which is a translation process result, in object language, means 1 and 2 which display a translation in object language of examples of words and phrases used in the translation in target language, and a means by which a desired translation can be selected from among plural target languages by selecting the information related with the translation in target language displayed in object language are provided. Assuming that 'I read the book' is translated into Japanese. English comment 'I read the book' '(present) and' 'I read the book' (past), are attached for permitting user to select one of possible two Japanese translations. |
