摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a closed type lead acid battery which can cope with a wide variety of thinning/downsizing without using a conventional monoblock battery jar. CONSTITUTION:In a closed type lead acid battery constituted in such a way that plate groups 5 formed by arranging a positive electrode 1, electrolyte 3 and a negative electrode 2 on the same plane are wrapped/covered/sealed while sandwiching them from the upper/lower both surfaces by means of acid proof resinous films or sheets 4, the plate groups 5 are formed in plurality, and the respective plate groups 5 are laminated upon each other through acid proof resinous films or sheets 4' and the respective resinous films or sheets 4' are connected to the upper/lower both surface resinous films or sheets 4 in the peripheral edge parts 6.
