<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent its own device and connection equipment from being damaged when the connection equipment to be connected is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A connection equipment control device is connected to connection equipment to be connected via connection terminals and controls the connection equipment, in accordance with the kinds of the connection equipment connected from among multiple kinds of connection equipment, based on connection equipment identification signals which are transmitted from the connected connection equipment and identify the kinds of the connection equipment. In this case, the connection equipment control device is provided with; a connection equipment identification means 13 which identifies the kinds of the connection equipment 2 based on the connection equipment identification signals; a control means 12 which controls the operation of the connection equipment 2 in accordance with the identified kinds of the connection equipment 2; and an input/output setting control means 15 which controls settings so that signal input/output setting from its own device to the connection equipment 2 side may be kept to be "input" until the startup completion of the control means 12 when connection terminals among the connection terminals, to which definitions of signal input/output setting vary according to the kinds of the connection equipment 2, are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
