<p>The vehicle bumper has a cross-sectional profile with upper and lower bodies and profile part holding together body outer parts. The beam ends have fastening parts with fastening surfaces against the vehicle supporting part. The fastening parts have cross bulkheads directed generally in the vehicle longitudinal direction and fastened partly in their inner ends and partly in the bodies with their outer ends. The cross bulkheads have upright reinforcements in their central parts. The bumpers can comprise a hat beam (11) with a central flange (16,17) and a cover (30) fixed against the side flanges so that the beam forms a closed cross section. The central flanges form the fastening surfaces and the cover is turned outwards from the vehicle.</p> |
