PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesion of a foil body to a polyimide film by providing the body made of silver alloy in which its surface is oxidized and the film formed on the surface of the body in such a manner that the alloy contains a predetermined amount of Ca and the residue contains Ag and unavoidable impurities. CONSTITUTION:A silver alloy conductor foil 11 with a protective film comprises a foil body 12 made of silver alloy in which its surface is oxidized, and polyimide films 13, 13 formed on the surfaces 12a, 12b of the body 12. The alloy contains 10-1000ppm of Ca, and the residue of a composition containing Ag and unavoidable impurities. Or, the alloy may contain 10-750ppm of at least one type selected from Be, In and rare earth elements. Thus, a close contact strength of the body 12 to the film 13 can be improved, and a malfunction such as peeling of the film 3 from the foil 11 is eliminated. |
