A cover for a portable phone and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to attach a film on a metal housing front surface and integrally include a display window and a keypad on a rear surface of a housing. A film(220) is made of transparent material to form an appearance. A print layer(222) is formed on one surface of the film. A housing(240) is made of a metal plate and is fixed on one surface of the film to support the film. A display window(270) is installed in one side of the housing to identify a display at the outside of the film. A pad(280) is installed in the inside of the housing and contacted with the film. Force applied to the film is transferred to a dome switch.
