A call service system and a method thereof for a mobile terminal between an opponent terminal and a user terminal through calling using character or multimedia data are provided to connect a call to a telephone number corresponding to inputted character or multimedia data. A subscriber database(330) stores subscription information by using a user terminal(100). A text transmitting DB(350) stores transmitting telephone number corresponding to multimedia data or special character for call connection. A character call server(340) searches the transmitting telephone number corresponding to the multimedia data or the special character from character transmitting DB. The character call server provides the specification character or multimedia data of the subscriber stored in the character calling DB about calling from the subscriber.
