<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an FEC system for efficiently generating a plurality of FEC packets from one encoded block and transmitting the packets even in a case where a rate of media packets is varied. <P>SOLUTION: Media packets are successively acquired, the media packets acquired are transmitted via a network, a plurality of FEC packets are generated by carrying out FEC calculation processing using media packets acquired within a predetermined period from acquisition of a first acquired media packet after media packets subjected to the processing immediately before, and the plurality of FEC packets generated are transmitted within the predetermined period after a lapse of the predetermined period from the acquisition of the first acquired media packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
