FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: substance of the method consists in blood serum analysis for tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloprotein kinase type 1. Herewith if the content of tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloprotein kinase type 1 does not exceed 710 ng/ml, favourable disease outcome is predicted, while its content exceeding 710 ng/ml shows fatal outcome within three months. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of disease outcome estimation in elderly and old patients suffering from cardiac insufficiency. ^ 3 ex, 1 dwg
