FIELD: physics, radio. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns noise-resistant radio communication, mainly in security equipment, and covers coding and decoding of radio communication channels with frequency modulation. Coding involves division of information sequence into 4 bit units. For each unit a code word is selected out of assembly of 16 8-symbol long code words and transmitted over communication channel. Decoding involves selection of information unit of closest code word for accepted code word by maximum likelihood. Indicated assembly of 16 code words is obtained by cyclical shift and inversion of basic code words 11100100 or 11001010. The first one provides minimum number of 0/1 and 1/0 transitions in code words, while the second one provides minimum total length of similar symbols at junction of different code words. ^ EFFECT: enhanced coding speed and noise resistance. ^ 1 tbl |
