ELECTRODE STRUCTURES FOR GENERATING ION

PURPOSE: An ion generation electrode structure is provided, which can generate ion at the low voltage and extends lifetime of an insulator and electrode. CONSTITUTION: An ion generation electrode structure comprises a discharge electrode(20); an induction electrode(30); and a ceramic insulating layer(10) which locates between the discharge electrode and induction electrode. The discharge electrode has a plurality of ends(21) and each end is rounded. The discharge electrode is comprised of an electrode connecting part(22) and an electrode part(24). The electrode part is branched from the electrode connecting part and forms a plurality of ends. On the ceramic insulating layer, a metallic projection(60) for generating negative ion is prepared.
