PURPOSE: An apparatus for disposing food waste and a support thereof are provided to clean a storage part clearly in which the food waste is stored, and to discharge the food waste efficiently with good sterilization effects using far-infrared radiation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for disposing food waste includes a body part(110), a driving part, a compression part(130), and a storage part. The body part is driven through a switch(1131) prepared on a control panel(113). The compression part has a lifting guide bar(132), and a protrusion(1321) is formed on a side of the lifting guide bar. One or more lifting guide groove(111) is formed on a side of the body part. The body part has an opening and closing guide groove(1122).
