PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of developing floor surface illuminance required for emergency right under a luminaire while obtaining required light flux even at a wider light distribution angle.SOLUTION: An emergency lighting system 3 provided at the end of a long-sized main lighting system 1 includes a LED 31, and an optical member 5 for controlling light to be distributed. The optical member 5 has a recessed incident part 51, a light guide part 52 to which the light is guided, and a protruded emission part 53 from which the light is emitted. An optical axis Ax of the LED 31 passes through the centers of the incident part 51 and the emission part 53. A width Wa and a height Ha of the incident part 51 satisfy a relationship of Wa/2≤Ha≤Wa. A width Wb of the emission part 53 is greater than the width Wa of the incident pat 51, and the width Wb and a height Hb of the emission part 53 satisfy a relationship of Wb≥Hb. The outline of the emission part 53 is shaped so that the thickness of the light guide part 52 monotonously increases in a region from the center of the incident part 51 in opposition to the peripheral edge and monotonously reduces in a region outside of the peripheral edge of the incident part 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
