PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of determining whether or not a thermal color extinction recording agent is used; and an image forming system.SOLUTION: A pre-heating image on a sheet conveyed from an image forming apparatus is read by a pre-heating reading part 121. Then, a post-heating image on the sheet is read by a post-heating reading part 122 after the sheet is heated by a heating device 123 to a temperature or higher at which a thermal color extinction ink is decolored. Subsequently, it is determined whether or not a thermal color extinction recording agent is used on the basis of the read pre-heating image and post-heating image, and the determination result is notified to a user by, for example, displaying the result on an operation display part 163.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
