PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of thin burrs and damage, etc., of a die when a roll integrally having a roll body on the outer periphery of a shaft core member 310 is molded.SOLUTION: A die comprises a first split die 1 and a second split die 2 abuttable and separable on parting surfaces 1a and 2a facing each other. The first split die 1 and the second split die 2 are formed with: support parts 11 and 21 capable of supporting the shaft core member 310 of a roll and closely contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft core member 310 at an appropriate contact pressure when die-clamped; a roll body molding surface 12 forming a cavity A to the shaft core members 310 when die-clamped; and recessed parts 14 and 24 positioned at both end parts of each of the support parts 11 and 21, extended along the parting surfaces 1a and 2a, non-contacted with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft core member 310 when die-clamped and penetrating the support parts 11 and 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
