The present invention provides a system capable of rapidly grasping moisture penetration and moisture penetration position using a temperature change generated due to the moisture penetration by disposing an optical cable around a heat wire. The present invention relates to a system and a method to detect an inflow of a fluid using an optical cable. The system comprises: a casing (1) disposed on an object (3) to be kept warm such as a pipe or a tank; a heat wire (7) disposed in the casing (1), generating heat; an optical cable (9) disposed adjacent to the heat wire (7), detecting a temperature change of the heat wire (7) to transmits an optical laser pulse; and a controller (11) which receives a signal from the optical cable (9), analyzing the temperature change of the heat wire (7). |
