The present invention relates to an optical connector comprising: an optical block which includes an optical transmission line which transmits optical signals, and an insertion protrusion which is protruded from the outer side; a receptacle which includes a mounting unit which detachably mount the optical block, an insertion hole into which the insertion protrusion is inserted to be withdrawn, a photoelectric device which is optically arranged with the optical transmission line, and a fitting protrusion which is protruded from the outer side; and a shell which is slid to the receptacle. The shell includes: an opening unit which selectively opens or closes the insertion hole according to the sliding movement of the shell; a first fitting groove to which the fitting protrusion is detachably fitted when the insertion hole is opened by the opening unit; and a second fitting groove which is formed in a position which is separated from the first fitting groove at predetermined intervals, and into which the fitting protrusion is fitted when the insertion hole is closed by the opening unit. According to the present invention, the optical block is fixed to or released from the receptacle with a simple lever operation and a sliding operation, thereby simplifying a fixing structure of the optical block and performing miniaturization and low profile of the optical connector. |
